Alhama de Murcia will become the capital of the flamenco avant-garde, with a program that includes the most disruptive and heteroorthodox manifestations of the genre. The Flamenco Week of Alhama de Murcia will celebrate its seventh edition from September 19 to 24, with a program that includes the most heteroorthodox flamenco proposals. Jorge Pardo, José de los Camarones, Artomático, Carmen Xía, Andreh and Manuela, The Gardener and Cía. Chicharrón will be the protagonists of the event. All program activities are free of charge.
Alhama Signature Golf Club will host one of the Festival events on Tuesday , September 19th at 9.00 pm. The show Sin Ojana, by the Chicharrón Company. Without Ojana (without hypocrisy, without lies) is the flamenco which fuses the rhythms and bars of Flamenco with juggling. Chicharrón, carries with it, a song to freedom, a tribute to Flamenco, women and the becomings of life.
