As members may be aware, the Alhama Signature Golf Course has recently been remeasured following the movement of tees. This has led to a shortening of the course from the Yellow and Red tees the Society play the vast majority of their competitions from.
New Scorecards and Slope Ratings have been issued by the course and these have come into immediate effect.
The new Slope Ratings will be used by the Society from tomorrow’s competition (Friday 16th June 2023).
We should advise that most members will notice a one or two shot reduction in the number of shots they receive in future competitions.
Please note that the course stroke indexes have not changed but will be reviewed by the course in the future, when they have enough data from competitions played from the new tees.
